Competitive sports have been the focal point of my life since age 5, playing on several baseball and basketball teams, while golfing mainly for fun until High School. My passion for both golf and baseball, as well as my positive attitude, easy-going nature and support of my teammates led me to being selected as the Captain of my high school's Varsity Golf and Baseball teams as a Junior. I believe these are the traits that would make me a great candidate for a collegiate team. I have always found it difficult to choose my favorite sport. Over this past year, golf has become my focus, and I feel that I have just scratched the surface of my abilities.
Academics have always been my first priority. I am a member of the National Honor Society with a weighted GPA of 4.25, and I scored a 1330 on the SATs. I will have completed 6 AP courses by graduation and am driven to succeed both in the classroom and on the golf course.
My college aspiration is to earn a Business degree while continuing to improve my golf game to reach my full potential and contribute to my team's success.
