Alex Kesterson '24 Recruiting Profile

I was 18 months old when my grandfather bought me my first golf clubs. Since then I’ve been taking lessons. And hitting the range. But it was not until quarantine when I started to play golf a lot more. I played less and less baseball and started playing more and more golf. Throughout the summer I played 5-6 times a week and watched my handicap keep falling. In my Freshman year of High school I tried out for my first time but was unfortunately not selected to play. I was crushed. But I never gave up or quit. I hit the links even harder and made varsity the following year. Now I am preparing to maybe one day play in college. But no matter what happens, the work will never stop and the mind will never be satisfied.
