Personal Statement
my name is Collin Paik and i play for Worcester Technical High Schools golf team, i am the captain and a leader of my team and have been since freshman year, i fell in love with the game at an early age and always strived to make myself better every time i hit the course. My Goal for college is to graduate with a business degree to open up my own welding company one day. My dream is to play in the PGA tour so i push myself everyday to meet those standards so i practiced everyday to get to that point in my life. I taught myself to play the game from watching pro golfers on television, watching golf made me get into the sport a lot more. i was nominated all-star throughout my four years at high school, which helped my drive to excel in golf. Golf motivates me to be successful in my studies because without my academics i wouldn't be able to pursue my future into being a student athlete. my health and fitness is a top priority of mine, i keep in shape by going to the gym and dieting daily. i would love to be apart of college golf because i know it can help get to where i want to be athletically and academically.
