Personal Statement
My name is Jack Justesen and I am pursuing my dream of playing college golf after I graduate in 2024. I was fortunate to have grown up in a golfing family that started with my parents love of the game and drove both my brother and sister to play competitive golf in college. I have been on the driving range hitting balls sine I was 2 years old and on the Hawley varsity golf team since 7th grade. I finished second in the conference the last two years and was all-state this year. I also play basketball and enjoy my time in athletics as they have helped me become a stronger person and leader. Golf has helped me to persevere and strive to be better in everything I do. There is nothing like being alone, playing golf with no one to blame but yourself if things go wrong. I have spent hours on my hometown golf course and continue to work hard to get better every day.
I am looking for a school that can meet my academic desires and continue to help me develop as a golfer and grow as a person. My dedication and desire to be the best has and will continue to drive me to succeed in school, golf and life.
