Anthony Lueck '20 Recruiting Profile

    Firstly, my main goal is to strive to be a better person throughout this whole process. I want to pursue academics and prepare for a life through my desired career, all the while enjoying the sport that has brought so much to me. My academic career at my school is a 3.7 accumulative GPA and I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the Minnesota Honors Society at my high school. This society is appointed upon by my leadership, service in my community, academic superiority, and character.

    My most previous season of golf I had accomplished my goal of reaching the top ten in my conference and advance to the second day of sections. The latter hadn't been done since before the present coach had taken his position. I also competed in the Minnesota Jr. PGA, where I saw my golf game vastly improve and still continue to see it stem in the direction that I desire. With my golf team, I am always willing to provide tips to help each individual teammate succeed with their game and give a competitive, also friendly, atmosphere. I love to help those that are just starting their competitive golf career by giving them tips on how I have seen myself succeed the most and what may work the best for them. My coach would say that one of my best attributes is that I am coachable. I desire to reach the best that I can be and in my eyes, that means that I need all the advice that I can get. One of the best people to go to is indeed my coaches for they have seen my swing for quite some time and can always give pointers from prior knowledge from themselves, or another player they had seen a similar instance from.
