Personal Statement
My name is Zack Hammons. I started playing golf when I was 13. From there I never looked back. I would go out and spend 12 hours on the course every chance I got. In 2011 I finally talked my school into getting a golf team. That next year I qualified for the 3A state golf tournament. I won the Mississippi 3A state golf tournament for the 2011-2012 school year. This was within Raleigh High School's first year in having a golf program. During the 2012-2013 school year I placed third individually in the MHSAA 3A state championship. I plan on pursuing my dreams of becoming a professional athlete through golf.
