Carson Thompson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carson Thompson and I started golfing about a year and a half ago.  Golfing was a fun activity for me and my family when COVID started because it gave us something to do outside.  Once I started I loved it so I started going to an instructor that wished he started with me five years ago because he says I have a great touch and natural swing.  My junior year was my first year with high school golf,  my score has improved dramatically and has improved in this time 20 strokes or so.  I played in my first junior golf championship a week ago and scored a 94 and that was after a couple really bad holes.  My goal is to get into the mid 80's this year. I am a very hard worker and practice the game daily at home and also I work at a golf course so I get to play there also.  I think with a little more experience I could be an asset to any team and would love the opportunity to play in college.
