At the State Tournament my freshman year I did not play to my full potential and I was extremely frustrated and disappointed. However, I strongly believe that it was this that helped develop my work ethic into what it is now both when perfecting my game, and in the classroom. My performance in that tournament fueled me to work harder and led me to having my best season yet. Furthermore, it has contributed to my understanding of how important resilience is to being a successful golfer. Being able to bounce back after a bad shot, hole, or even tournament is vital to being a talented golfer, and is even just a great skill to have in life in general. I also believe that mentally I am as tough as they come, which would be a great influence on the rest of your team. These attributes are contagious to those around me and I will be an asset to your golf team.
I have been playing golf just about all of my life and the lessons I have learned have been crucial to who I am now on and off the golf course. I have played in many conditions and feel comfortable in any situation on the golf course. I am beyond excited to continue, and take my career athletically and academically to the next level.
