Kaven Noctor '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Kaven.  A senior from Butte MT and attending Butte High school.  It is my dream to Golf at the college level and for life, this started as an 8 year old after taking a golf camp at my grandparents golf course in Cedar Edge CO.  In addition to golf I have played football, basketball, track and baseball.  In Basketball I made varsity as a sophomore and was the 2012 MT State  champion at free throws, and 2012 Regional Champion Free throw shooter.   All sports I enjoyed and did well in but by the time I was in high school I knew I wanted to golf in college.  As a freshman in high school I made the Varsity team and have played Varsity all four years.  The goal my first year was to make it to the State tournament, second to be in the top 20, third to make the All State distinction and this year top ten.  I made those goals and more.  I also have participated in the Western MT Junior Golf League in which this past summer I won every tournament I participated in.  I placed top 3 of the tour for the past four years.  Also this past summer I won the Montana State Junior Golf tournament qualifying me to represent the Team Montana in two National Tournaments called the Junior Americas Cup and the Montana/Alberta Open.  What can be expected of me in college is hard work, integrity and a leader on the team.  I believe champions are built on the off season and to have accomplished what I have in the last four years by working at it every day all year.   When I have a goal I am focused and driven.  You will see that every year since I started golfing my average scores go down because I work for it.   My goal is to continue to become a better golfer every year while getting a good education for the future.  Thank you for looking at my profile and considering me as a candidate for your team.
