Reed Platke '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Reed Platke, I am a Junior at Whitefish High School in Montana. As a Freshman I finished second at the state championship by 1 shot, but I led our team to the state title. My Sophomore year I was voted captain, won the state title and helped our team to another state championship. This year I was the captain and had every intention of repeating last years accomplishments, however I finished one back of first place. I felt really good about the season and I am already chomping at the bit for next season. My Freshman G.P.A. was 3.85 My Sophomore G.P.A. was 4.0 Our summers are spent living in our camper and traveling from tournament to tournament all over the west, we play High School Golf in the fall. Winters are long in Montana and they are spent working out and practicing on our golf simulator. I pride myself on my work ethics and mental toughness. I would like to play collegiate golf in the western half of the U.S.
