2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Ever since I was 5 years old I have enjoyed playing the game of golf. What I enjoy the most about golf is the competitiveness and the mental grind it takes to get through a round. Two of my greatest accomplishments I've had through my years of golf was securing my top 10 spot out of 80,000 kids to advance to Augusta National for the 2015 Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship and qualifying for the 2019 Nebraska Class A State Golf Championship as a freshman. Golf and life have a lot in common, I approach each day like I approach each round on the course, to never give up and to always do the best I possibly can. What sets me apart from other golfers is how composed I am on the course when things are not going my way. I always approach the round the same, to never give up and to give it everything that I have so when I leave, I know I did my best.

I tied my individual matchplay match while shooting 71 (-1) on a course that measured 6972 yards.
