Personal Statement

I've played golf since I was able to swing a club. It's the biggest sport in my family. My improvement over the last year has started me on the college path. Early in the spring of 2021, I was shooting high 90's consistently, but after a lot of spring and summer work, I got my scores down to low 80's and cracking 70's. As I improved, I realized I could play at the next level. Since that realization, I have worked harder than ever in the classroom and on the course to make sure I could compete at the next level. I am excited for the future and what comes my way!

Update on season: Scores are starting to improve in meets. Tough conditions with the courses and with the weather have made it difficult but it is turning  around!

Summer Update: Playing the best I ever have. Still a lot of work to do, but getting closer to consistently shooting in the 70s. I am signed up for 5 tournaments in July.

Update: After a good summer of golf, I ended 11th in the Nebraska Junior Golf Tour point standings for the 16+ age division. I received an invitation to the NJGT championship at Happy Hollow in Omaha.
