Personal Statement
As this is my now my Senior year I am looking forward to competing at the next level. I have made the state golf tournament the last 3 years with an 11th place finish this year. I am a 3 year varsity starter on the football and basketball teams as well, but I enjoy golf the most. I have a great academic record and have been named to Academic State teams several times. I do have family in Arizona and have no regional preference for college. At this time my field of study is unknown, but I do enjoy engineering. I am unlike many other golfers as my time has been limited for practice as I work over 40 hours a week during the summer and don't have time for a lot of practice, still I was able to be the only student from my high school to qualify for the state tournament all 4 years. In college, concentrating on one sport and not three I feel my scoring average should change dramatically.
