My immediate goal is to play competitive golf in college. I want to continue to compete individually taking my talent to the next level against the best in the country, but also want to utilize my skills and ability to be part of a program to help them accomplish team goals and feel the camaraderie with my teammates. Besides playing high school golf I have been playing on the Sun Country Jr. Tour since 2013. This has made me a much better golfer because the talent level is much deeper and I was playing different courses, learning to adapt to different course layouts and conditions. I have been playing high school golf since I was in the 8th grade and that has given me so much I can take and utilize on the course as well as part of a team. As an 8th grader it was intimidating at first being around seniors in high school, however, I was treated with such respect and kindness that I have taken that experience to become a leader not only with my team but my local golfing community. I have volunteered with a local junior program, assisting the club pro from my home course teaching young kids the game of golf. This has helped build my character, teaching me valuable skills that I can use the rest of my life; patience, communication, and responsibility. My love for golf goes beyond just playing as I hope to have a career in golf whether it's teaching, being a club pro, or in general management.
