Alden Motala '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alden Motala, and I am currently a Junior attending C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY.  I have been playing golf since I was 5 years old, and have also played in various other sports along the way.  I have been playing competitive golf for several years now and have really enjoyed the thrill and challenges of tournament golf.  As a result, one of my main goals is continue to grow my game and to play competitive golf at the collegiate level.  Over many years I have been working hard at learning  more about the game and taking the opportunities to develop my physical and metntal skills as an athlete.  I also work especially hard to find a balance with academics and with athletics.  As a student athelete, I have faced many obstacles and challenges throughout my golf career, I have learned to never give up and try my best to overcome the challenges that I face.  As a competitive golfer, I have gained lots of confidence over the past years and as a result, i have really seen steady improvement in my game.  As a self-driven person, I constantly work hard on my golf game and always look for ways to improve every chance that I get.
