Personal Statement
My name is Noah Tyler and I am a senior golfer at Hudson Falls High School located in upstate New York. I grew up as a multi sport athlete, playing soccer, basketball, and baseball. I picked up golf during Spring of 2020 when the pandemic started. I joined the golf team the following school year. I enjoyed the success we had, winning both the league and section in 2021. I fell in love with the game and stopped playing baseball last spring to fully pursue golf.
I have always been very driven and hardworking. I have taken my golf game to a higher and more serious level over the last year. I’ve spent countless hours this summer, practicing on and off the course. I averaged a 41 last high school season and I am currently averaging 35.1 this season. I competed in NENY Junior Tournaments this summer and finished with an average of 77.6. I think I have a lot of room to grow as a golfer, after only playing for 2 years.
I have always been very coachable and am able to pick up on things very quickly. I look forward to having the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. I think it will help me grow exponentially.
