Personal Statement
My academic goals are to finish college with a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in PGA Management. I intend to do whatever it takes to succeed in the program by applying myself in all classes and being the best I can be. I would welcome the opportunity to prove myself in the classroom, on the golf course and as a teammate. I will work hard in practice, watch film and tour players; as well as, study the course to be better prepared to win matches. In order to reach the highest level of play possible, it’s important to be a coachable player and take advice from coaches and co players. What makes me different from other golfers on the course is that I am relaxed in high pressure matches and able to visualize my shots which makes them come easier. Off the course, what makes me different from others would be the fact that I’m extremely determined to do anything I put my mind too. I always have an open mind while learning new things which gives me the ability to have a fresh perspective when stepping into challenging situations. I consider myself humble and calm under pressure. I enjoy helping others and will use my strengths to help when I can. I will stay on top of my school work and give it all I have. I promise to work harder and smarter to make a positive impact to the sport I love and the school where I play.
