Personal Statement

I was never bad, mischievous or hard headed when I was a little boy; I was more of an introvert. As time went on, my personality has changed. I am starting to be an extrovert and believing in myself more. At age three,my dad bought me a set of plastic golf clubs that I would swing around in the house. My dad had a net in our backyard where he would hit golf balls. I would go out with my plastic set and start hitting the plastic golf balls. At the moment, I knew that I wanted to play golf for the rest of my life. Golf is one of the hardest sports to play. You need to acquire the ability to have the physical and mental power to play your best golf. Golf teaches me to work , be patient, become confident and always learn from failures. My parents believe education is a necessity for me and my siblings. They want us to excel greatly in that area because it really does help in life. My goal for education in high school, is to show the college recruiters how much I have improved for the four years in high school. My goal for college is to be in a place that fits my preferences perfectly and I would be able to impact that college in a type of way. One big obstacle that I had to overcome was to put golf in the main frame of my life. There was a time where I would fear that golf wouldn’t work out,but through God he showed me that if I work in what I believe in,then it will 100% come true. My family is very religious and they keep telling me to pray and trust in God because he can do things more then we can ask, think or imagine. He decides my path for my future and when he shows me then I will follow.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
