Personal Statement
I love golf ! I first started playing golf at age nine. I have dreamed of playing college golf for the last several years. I started on the varsity as a freshmen and made an immediate impact by posting the lowest stroke average on the team and helping my team with only one senior finish second in our conference. That year I beat the conference player of the year in a head up match. As a junior I lowered my stroke average and led the team to a 14-0 record, to win the conference championship. I was Stark County Division II Co-Player of the Year and lost the conference player of the year award in a coin toss. I was Co-Medalist at our conference tournament. I hope to continue improving my GPA and graduate with a better than 3.00 GPA. I am the third of five children and have learned the importance of responsibility early in life. I know that to be respected, I must work hard to earn respect. I have been taught that to whom much is given much is expected and strived to demonstrate that in my life. I would be a asset to any program and would welcome the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing college golf.
