Max Lane '19 Recruiting Profile

I am extremely passionate about golf. When my dad introduced it to me as a 6-year-old, it trumped any other sport I'd ever played. I still play baseball and love it, but golf is really part of who I am. Unlike some high school golfers, academics is something I really strive to succeed in, as much, if not more than golf. I attend a rigorous private school, with some extremely intelligent and hardworking classmates that challenge my intellect every day. My coach has described me as a very hard worker, and I have recently ramped up the amount of lessons I take to truly grind at my golf game. I practice every day I can, whether I can get to the range, on the course, or just hit balls into a net in my basement. I would love to play men's college golf, and continue my career, striving to be the best I can, and simultaneously succeed in the college classroom towards a degree.
