Personal Statement

My name is Grant Carter, and I am a senior at Worthington Christian High School with a 74-scoring average. During my Senior year I won the Bishop Watterson InvitationalMy goal in college is to contribute to a competitive golf team while growing as an athlete, a student, and a leader. I am driven by a commitment to consistent improvement and have spent countless hours refining my skills, both physically and mentally, on the course.

My experience at Worthington Christian has also shaped me as a student-athlete with a disciplined work ethic and a strong sense of integrity, both on and off the course. I believe I am a unique candidate for a team, not only because of my dedication to the sport but also due to my eagerness to support and motivate my teammates. Balancing athletics with academic rigor has prepared me well for the challenges and expectations of collegiate golf, and I am excited about the possibility of representing a golf program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
