Jaden Schlabach '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaden Schlabach and I am interested in playing golf at the collegiate level.  I will be a senior at Dalton High School and I will be graduating in the spring of 2023. It has been a dream of mine to play golf at the collegiate level since I started playing golf in 7th grade. I believe that God has used golf in my life to display the love of Christ and a love for others.   I love the game of golf and want to play it at a high level for the competition, for the fun, and the opportunity to impact others.   My faith is something that is vitally important to me. I believe that I need to have a strong foundation in God because I know I can lean on him in good seasons of life and bad seasons of life.   I know that God has given me talent in this game and He has used it to display his glory.

My goals for the rest of this high school season is to shoot consistently under 38 on nine holes and under 75 on eighteen, win the WCAL championship, and to qualify for the state tournament for a second consecutive year and finish in the top ten.    My achievements during my high school career are attaining WCAL first team for two years in a row, qualifying for the 2021 OHSAA State golf tournament, placing 12th overall in the NOPGA  JR series, and winning medalist at the Tannenhauf Invitational during this current season. 

These are my best scores from the NOPGA Jr series over the summer. Portage Country Club-75, Avon Oaks Country Club-74, Ellsworth Meadows Golf Course-75, Eagle Creek Golf Club-78, Fox Den Golf Course-73, Pine Hills Golf Club-71, and Columbia Hills Country Club-74. I also played in a two-day Hurricane Junior Tour event at Fox Den Golf Course - 79,75.  These are my scores so far this High School season.
