When my golf team finished 3rd place at the 2018 Ohio Sectional Tournament, it was the highlight of my career. With all of the talented competition in our sectional tournament, a spot to move onto districts as a team was tough to come by. Moving on from sectionals to districts as a team was the highlight of my career due to the fact that I could celebrate with my closest friends, and we were all able to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Missing the cut to state by one stroke my junior year was the toughest setback I had ever had, but then over time, I started to realize the mistakes that I had made that day. After that district tournament experience, I realized that I work way too hard at the game of golf to just blow it after a few compounded bad shots. My overall attitude towards golf and life in general was flipped on its head that October afternoon, and after many days of grieving, I knew that I had to change my ways for the better so that I can grow as a person and as a future collegiate golfer.
When I am not found golfing, I enjoy fishing, hunting, trapping, hiking, working, hanging out with friends, helping out my neighbors and helping out in my community as an American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and Summer Lunch Program volunteer, as well as attending Relay for Life activities.
