Winter Golf Pract...Personal Statement
My name is Wyatt Nicholson. I am currently a junior at Meigs High School. My Dad bought my first set of clubs when I was 10 years old. What started as a sport that I could enjoy playing with Dad turned in to my favorite sport. Golf is unlike any sport. It has taught me to control my emotions, strive for success and to be a leader. I was awarded TVC All-Conference Player and TVC All-Academic Honors in 2016, as well as receiving my Varsity letter in both 2015 & 2016.
As much as I love the game, academics are my main focus. It is important for me to receive an excellent education while being able to golf. My educational goals for college are to major in Engineering. With my Dad being a USMC Veteran and current Aviation Technician at NetJets, I have become eager to learn more about aviation. I am excited to see where my future in golf & engineering will take me.
