Hi, My name is Hunter Askew. All of my high school career has revolved around golf and grades. I am a 4.0 student at Purcell High School in Oklahoma. I have also taken some Concurrent classes as well. I have played golf for a total of 3 years. My first year of golf as a freshman my scores were in the 100's. I improved a lot over that summer and my scores decreased to the lower 90's my Sophomore year. The summer before my Junior year I began working out at the golf course that I practice at, so if I'm not playing I'm working. This year my score has been an average of 80 throughout the season. As a Junior this year, I qualified for Regionals and State as an individual. I went to the Oklahoma 3A State tournament at Trosper Golf Course in Midwest City. I shot my personal best at the State Tournament twice. The first day I shot a 76 the first round and then the second day I improved my score to a 72. I am looking forward to my Senior year, I think it looks very promising that I will be able to improve upon my score even more with the practice that I will put in over the summer. Thanks for your time.
