Personal Statement

Chase Crissman is from Irwin, Pennsylvania. He is in his Senior year of high school, age 18 (2021), and will be a future graduate of the class of 2022. Chase is on the Penn Trafford Boys Varsity Golf team and helped to contribute to their Section Champ title and perfect 13-0 record this season. Over this past spring and summer, Chase played in 21 tournaments, 32 rounds, with a tournament average of 79.4. His top finishes included 1st place at Latrobe Elks, Chase got 7th in his first-ever AJGA Tournament shooting a 72 and an 80. He got 3rd in the 101th WPGA Junior Championship, competing against 35 avid golfers. He also got 2nd at Green Oaks Country Club and 3rd at Youghiogheny Country club this year. Without any golfers in his family, Chase asked for golf clubs at the age of 5 because he lives next to Irwin Country Club. Chase is an avid golfer and works hard to improve his game year-round by golfing daily. He is also a dedicated student, with a 3.85-grade point average.
