Personal Statement
Growing up as an only child, I had no one to compete with except myself. In golf, the competition occurs between yourself and the course. This is why I fell in love with the game of golf and why I wish to play golf at the collegiate level. My father introduced me to the game at an early age and instilled a deep passion for the game.
Throughout my career as a golfer, I have learned that a positive attitude is an integral part of the game and have strived to enhance that approach to my game. Additionally, I believe in the saying, “Quality over Quantity”, and try to make the most out of my time at the golf course.
Academically, I believe I could fit into any collegiate program. I am a strong A student and would show my work ethic for school is equal with that for golf. My goal for college is to play golf for a school that would allow me to fulfill my academic endeavors and to compete on a top-tier golf team.
