Alec Thiele '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Alec Thiele. I am a current high school junior at a small school in rural southern Pennsylvania. My small school and town are best known for being the location of the crash of Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. I have had a golf club in my hand since I could walk. Winters can be tough here in the Laurel Highlands, but as soon as I can get out in the spring I am out! I’ve even been known to chip some balls around my backyard while there was snow on the ground. I was ranked 3rd in my conference and tenth in my district for my junior year of high school. I also cut my handicap in half from my sophomore year to my junior year. I currently have a 3.977 GPA and am taking early college classes for which I was named to the Dean’s List. I am very proud of my sports accomplishments as well as my academic ones. I am eager to continue my golf career into college and am looking forward to this next adventure in my life!
