Personal Statement
My name is Tucker Litten. I am a rising senior (2023 golfer) from Nashville, Tennessee. I go to Valor College Prep in South Nashville. I have a 3.9 GPA and want to focus on getting a good education while playing the sport I love in college. I am a 3.6 Handicap and getting better. On average I shoot mid to high 70’s and may get into the low 80’s on a bad day. I would love to play college golf at a school that focuses both on athletics and academics. I want to major in Sports Broadcasting and pursue a career in Business or Communications after college. I've had to overcome many obstacles and challenges over my life. The biggest being a physical disability caused by being premature. Cerebral Palsy has been a big challenge but I've learned how to overcome my CP and compete with other junior golfers my age. I have played golf for 14 years and would love to bring my experiences and perseverance to your school.
