My name is Nicholas Beausoleil. I’m born and raised in Texas where I have developed a passion for the outdoors including; hunting, fishing, sporting clays and golf. I’ve had a golf club in my hands since age four. My interest for the game grew the day I won my first tournament when I was eleven playing in a Father’s Day tournament with my dad at our local course. That’s the day I knew I wanted to be successful at the game of golf.
Since then I’ve learned much about myself and about the game. I absolutely love the competition and the mental aspect of the game. For me, patience on the course is critical to overcoming adversity and ultimately winning. I thrive under pressure and enjoy the hunger for winning. Last year, while playing on the South Texas PGA (STPGA) Junior Tour in ten tournaments, I won four, placed second in two and placed fourth in three. As well as advancing to the STPGA Junior Championship at the end of the summer.
I am currently taking dual credit courses in high school. My immediate academic goals are to graduate in the top five percent (5%) of my class and receive an associates degree. In college I am setting goals to earn a bachelors degree, graduating with honors, and proceed to earn a post graduate degree while furthering my golfing goals.
I’ve been successful in baseball, basketball, track and golf. I've pitched no hitters, been the high point scorer in many basketball games but ultimately I've chosen golf as my main focus aside from academics in school. Juggling school work and golf practice while maintaining part-time employment at our local golf course has definitely been challenging at times. I've learned how to mange my time and balance priorities to achieve success.
I have excellent conduct and have always been extremely coachable. I work hardest on my weakest attributes, thrive under pressure and know I would be an asset to both your golf program and college.
