Personal Statement

`My name is Cameron DeCort, I am currently a senior at Magnolia West High School and within the graduating class of 2019. I have had a burning passion and love for the game of golf since I was young. My goal is to pursue collegiate endeavors, both academically and athletically, with the intention of achieving a career in professional golf. While golf is my inspiration, I still maintain and put my grades first. I am ranked 12th out 441 kids, and am currently in the 3% of my graduating class. My expectation is to maintain my top 3% ranking throughout the rest of the year and become an All American Scholar Athlete in college. I plan to double major in finance and accounting, with the goals of achieving my CPA and CFA. My continued persistence and determination to succeed shines through every day and I can not wait to contribute to one of youll's golf teams.
