Jacob Garcia '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Garcia and I will be a senior at Wink High School. I will be a four year letter men on the golf team. I have been the number one golfer on the varsity team that has qualified for regionals the past three years and I was the Region I-IA Champion. I have qualified for the State Golf Tournament the past two years. I am dedicated to being the best golfer that I can be. I play at least five days a week and manage to balance my academics. I am currently third in my class and hold a 3.62 GPA. I also qualified to the State Academic Meet as a sophomore and was the Region I-IA Champion in Headline Writing. I was the State Alternate as a Junior. My ultimate academic goal is to graduate from Texas A&M University with a Petroleum Engineering Degree; however, I would like to pursue collegiate golf at some level. I am willing to play at a junior college, small college or a private college if necessary to fulfill this goal.
