I’ve been playing golf as long as I can remember, since my dad first took me a to golf course and let me hit balls. My dad said I had excellent hand-eye coordination as a toddler and if it involved a ball, or hitting a ball, I loved it. I’ve grown up with the game, taking lessons in junior golf programs at local courses and personal lessons from PGA teachers. I’ve played in Junior PGA, and Utah Jr. Golf Association tournaments since I was 8 years old and love competition. I split my time between baseball and golf but decided I had to finally choose between the two. Golf won out because I knew I could play it the rest of my life.
I had to sit out my freshman year of high school golf because I transferred schools but played number one or two on my high school team as a sophomore. I’d love to play golf in college and hope to find a good fit.
