My name is Ryan Hardy and I play golf for Manti High School. I’m going into my senior year this fall and I plan to graduate early in January of 2022.
For the past two years I have worked at my home course Palisades and I love working there it’s a great environment and I love being involved with the course maintenance and all the other activities we do out there. I believe I’m really involved at my course and other courses. I play men’s league every week and usually place and get skins, I also like to play in bigger tournaments such as the pro-am, the 2 day central Utah amateur, the club championship, the amateur, and the security national open. I also go play Spanish Oaks a lot which is up in Spanish Fork, my brother works there and I will try to go up there three times a month and play with him either in tournaments, men’s league, or just for fun.
My development through golf.
Ever since I was little I remember going out to the golf course with my dad and brother and playing and having a good time with them and I love the sport so much. My brother Davis played in high school and was a 2x state champ. He always took me out and play with him and that’s where my love for golf developed, I absolutely loved when he would take me to play with him, he was a great golfer and I will always look up to him even now that I can beat him. Golf has taught me many things including honest, integrity, anger management, self control, and making smarter choices. I have tried to imply all of these attributes into my life, I’ve seen tremendous growth throughout my life because Ive learned these key things golf has taught me.
