Tanner Gillespie '20 Recruiting Profile

I have had a passion for golf since I was 5 years old, going to the driving range with my dad and hitting balls over the fence in my back yard.  I dreamed then, of the chance to play and win the Masters.  I have been working toward that dream ever since and the opportunity to play at the college level.  I am a quiet leader who has made my high school team better by lifting the level of play of my teammates through the competitive drive I bring to the team.  I am a hard worker always trying to improve my game.  I spend time every day working on the range or course to be better.  

I want you to know I would be an amazing teammate, leader, and student, on and off the course.  I am a true competitor who loves to win and pressue brings out the best in me.  My goals this year as a Senior are to win our Region individually and as a team and to win the State Title.  In the classroom, I strive to be the best student I can be.  My goal is to make the All-State Academic Team this year.
