Personal Statement
When I was two years old my grandpa introduced me to the sport I now love. He gave me my first club, it was an iron that he had cut down just to fit my height. At eight years old I realized that golf was something that I wanted to be more serious with. I practiced almost everyday that summer progressively getting better and becoming more confident in my game.
The competitive edge I gained as a kid playing in youth tournaments has followed me through my high school years and post high school. Since day one of golfing I've had a passion that has never died. Having a competition mindset and passion for my sport is what has helped me grow as an athlete- and would be a great contribution to any team.
As a college athlete I hope to become better with every swing, every practice and every match. I want to be able to help my teammates be more confident and improve their game while I do the same. I would love to be able to build off of the opportunity of college golf and go further within the game.
