Personal Statement

I am a Senior at Harwood Union High School looking to play competitive college golf. I started playing golf at a local course at age 10 and have been competing in events since then. I have been an intregal part of the Harwood golf program as a leading contributor since freshman year.

I realized I wanted to play golf in college after being selected for the New England Junior Championship 2017 at Manchester CC. After playing in this tournament I realized that I have the ability to play in higher caliber tournaments and have continued to strive to improve my game with the expectation of playing at a collegiate level.

I am looking for a school where I can balance my academics with playing competitive golf. I have a lot of different interests and feel as though I am a natural leader and would be a great asset to any program.
