Evan Daniels - 20...Personal Statement
Hey coaches, my name is Evan Daniels. I have been playing golf for just over a year and a half now and am planning to continue playing golf through college. I am a junior this year at The Heritage School in Newnan, GA. I spend most of every day out on the golf course working on my game. Although I didn't start playing until my Freshman year, I've played almost 7 days a week for the past two years and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I love the game and fall in love with the process more and more every day. Before I turned 16, I also played as a 15 year old in the 16-18 year old category on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. I plan to be a college golfer for four years and then have a professional career after playing collegiate golf.

- Had a rough day on a course with some very hard greens that were rolling a 14 ended up shooting a 79, but overall happy with the way I played and ready to get on to the summer season.

- Had Region Tournament for school, play the front nine. with some putting problems and shot 40, on the back things started to come together a little bit more and ended with a 35. Finished with a 40-35-75 on a very hard course and placed 2nd overall in the tournament.

- Had a rough first day with a 42-41- 83. But came back with a solid round of 35-40-75. Had a few putting mishaps on the back nine, but had a great ball striking day with 13/14 fairways and 17/18 greens! An amazing experience at an amazing course!
