Personal Statement
I am a 5'10" golfer from Pearisburg, VA. I have played and loved the game of golf since I was very young. I have started on my High School Varsity golf team every season of my high school career. I have earned all-district honors every year, all-region honors my sophmore and senior years, and all-state honors my sophmore, junior, and senior years. As an individual, I won the 2010 group A VHSL State Championship.
I've always wanted to play golf at the collegiate level. I believe my leadership skills will help any team, as I was captain for my high school golf team my freshman, sophmore, junior, and senior years. I realize I have started the recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue my dream of playing competitive golf in college. I am in search of a college where I can obtain a four year degree in business management, as I would love to major in a field that allows me to be around the game of golf my entire life. Ideally, I would love to go to a school on the East Coast, as I have family here. However, I am willing to travel away from home to find the best opportunity for me.
