When I go to college, one of my goals is to become a collegiate golfer. I’ve played travel soccer my whole life and I never really stopped to think, “is this my true passion?” When when I was in 9th grade, I tried out for the high school golf team. It was my first year ever playing golf competitively. When I was trying out, I knew I wasn’t going to start and be the best right away. After the tryouts, our coach liked my tenacity and hustle that I possessed. I was selected, even over a couple upperclassmen, for the varsity golf team Freshman year. Throughout my years on the golf team, I progressively improved and realized my true, passionate sport. What makes me different is that I am always 100% committed to every sport I play and I have a never-give-up attitude towards everything in life. As for academics, I put my best effort in studying and learning everyday and have maintained Honor Roll through all of my high school career.
Update: My most recent round (November 5,2018) - Bonita Fairways in south Florida - I recorded an 80 (par 61); 41 on the front and 39 on the back.
Update: September 25, 2019 - I competed with my team in the Battlefield District Golf Tournament this week. I placed third on the team with a nine hole score of 52 at Mattaponi Springs. We are now headed to Regionals.
Update: October 2, 2019 - Carded my two best 9 hole rounds in the 18 hole Battlefield 4B Regional Championship at Meadows Farms GC. 48 on the Island 9 and 47 on the Waterfall 9 for a total of 95.
