Personal Statement
Since I was 7 years old I knew I wanted to be a golfer. I am very passionate about the game and my goal is to make a living in the game of golf. I want to use my devotion for golf to play at the college level and earn a degree in business so I can further the family business.
Golf has taught me how to conduct myself, both on and off the golf course. This summer I was honored to be the WJGA District 1 Joan Teats award winner. This award is special to me because participants at the district tournament vote for one person who exhibits good sportsmanship, etiquette, and is an inspiration to other players. I strive to be a role model and this award makes me feel like I am on my way to being the person I want to be.
A good quality I can bring to a college team is my work ethic. I am frequently asked by members at local golf courses if I have a home because I am there always working on my game. I love playing golf, and would love to play at the next level.
