Personal Statement
I love the game of golf. I strive to be the best I can be. I am a huge competitor and hate to lose. When it comes to any competition I want to win, especially in golf. One of the things that has really made me wanna work harder than ever is last years state tournament. I did not shoot what I was capable of and that really has pushed me to become better. Our team overall finished fourth but I know we can do so much better. Through playing the sport I have learned to become more responsible and caring for others. It has made me grow more into an adult to become more prepared for life.
I started playing golf competitively during my sophomore year. I made the varsity squad and was able to compete with some of the best. I love our team more than anything. I will sacrifice anything for our team to become great. Some of my goals: Win our conference player of the year, finish All-State, and win the State Championship as a team. Reaching these goals will help me prepare for what it takes to play college golf.
In college, I want to come in and compete with anyone out there. I will work hard day in and day out and never give up. My goal for college is to try and become one of the best at my level of play. Academically, I want to try and maintain a 3.5 or above my whole career. I also want to find a church where I can worship any day of the week and call my home. Church is a big part in my life and I want to find the right place for me.
