Tyler Johnson '22 Recruiting Profile

       Hi Coach, I am Tyler Johnson from Berlin, Wisconsin graduating in the class of 2022. Golf has been apart of my whole life as I have grown up on a golf course. I've been involved in the game in many ways including working in the golf business and playing for many years. I started to take it more seriously as I got into middle school and decided to stop playing summer baseball and basketball so I could focus just on golf. I have been a leader on our team ever since I was a freshman. Taking the number 1 spot on the team as a freshman was nerve-racking but I embraced it and helped turn our program around.  There have been many long days on the course practicing and playing in order to get my game to the next level. Ever since then it has been a grind to become the best player of my ability, and that grind continues each and everyday. 

       I accel both athletically and academically obtaining an accumulative GPA of 4.2 in my three years of high school. School is a place away from the golf course where I can improve the strength of my mental game. I have taken many honors classes and been on the Superior Honor Roll after each trimester. I strive everyday to have a positive impact on others and leave them with a smile on their face. Being a friend to everyone is something I am always trying to do. Now I am trying to take my athletic and academic ability to the next level and find a college that suits me.
