Personal Statement

When I picked up my first golf club at seven years old, I instantly fell in love with the game of golf. Although I have big aspirations of being a collegiate golfer, my biggest dream is to play professional golf after college. This drive and motivation allows me to never get exhausted by  the necessary hours of practice in order to constantly become better. Every time I step on a golf course I take that opportunity to become better. Additionally, I have a love for learning. I do not simply go to school and do my homework to get good grades but because I enjoy gaining more knowledge. I find golf as a way for myself to spread the word of God and to impact other people's lives by becoming a role model. Being a caring, respectful, and moral person is much more important to me than playing golf well or becoming a millionaire. I believe college is a great way to set me on the right path toward being a respectable golfer, student, and most importantly, Christian.
