2013 October - De...Personal Statement
I am a athlete who is willing to do things that others wont do, both on and off the ice. I put in 110% into hockey but also into school work. School is very important to me and my goal had always been to get school out of hockey. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make myself a high end prospect, whether it is staying after school every day to get additional help, or waking up at 630am to workout and upper my strength. I always compete no matter the situation and never give up. Ever. My character is one of kind in that i am able to balance almost all my relationships in life. Family is very important to me as being a role model towards younger kids who may look up to me. I like to give back to the community through being a goalie coach for younger goalies and enjoy seeing them love something as much as I do. I am not like any other athlete out there because i know about all the sacrifices i need to make in order to achieve my goals. I am willing to do anything to get me there, and am very thankful that i have a family and coaches and friends supporting me along the way.
