Personal Statement
Although I have not really promoted myself properly, I think the strongest testament to my abilities would come from my coaches. I tended to be on teams that have given up a lot of shots and my coaches have told me that I have single-handedly won many games. Just this weekend (January 12, 2014) coach Mike Quenneville from the Alabama Frozen Tide Club Team, after watching one of my games, indicated his interest in me, as well. My current coach, Jamie Easton, told my father that if I wanted to try playing juniors in Canada he'd make some calls.
As an indication of my interest and love for goaltending I made the decision to move away from home for my Junior year to attend Northern Educate's hockey academy in Minneapolis. For the entire school year we spent 3 hours on the ice every weekday. I developed tremendously, both on and off the ice, as a result of this experience.
Finally, I want to make it clear that I am going to college to fulfill my dream of becoming a pilot. If I have an opportunity to play hockey for my college that would be great, as well.
