Owen Regan '29 Recruiting Profile

I am a tall, strong, hard working, dedicated and smart defensive defenceman. I pride myself on being the hardest worker on the team and to learn as much as possible from my coaches. I excel in making strong passes, using my body and making defensive plays. I can also play the role as a power forward when needed and very versatile to play different positions. 

My goal is to play NCAA level hockey and I currently have an 80% grade average. I'm flexible and willing to attend any school that meets my education requirements. 

I have represented Canada and USA with CCM Selects (Team North America) at the Lions Cup in Czech Rep and also attended the Blue Chip Invite in Boston for Top players in North America.

Southern New Brunswick                                                             

• Regional Rep A team based on numerous cities and towns, such as Saint John, Quispamsis, Rothesay, Hampton and Sussex.
• Played defence for winter / spring team with team that combined both years of U13 Hockey. (Youngest in age on the team).
• Assistant Captain on team and played Left Defence.

• Transferred to Edmonton with my employer and Owen tried out and made Capital City Knights (CCK) in the HSL.
• Played defence on this team for Summer and early Fall.

• Selected to move up and play for Edmonton Silverbacks one of only 2 Major AAA teams in Edmonton area in the PHL and moved from AA to AAA.
• Played Left Defence on a very skilled team that travelled all-over Alberta and Saskatchewan.
