Daniel Chambers '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Daniel Chambers and hockey is my passion.  Although I was born and raised in Arizona, my family is from New York.  So, I guess you can say that the hockey influence has always been around me.  I have been told that I am athletically gifted and I excel at any sport I play.  I am grateful for this gift and feel very blessed. No matter how many different sports I have played, once I was introduced to hockey, I knew what my life was going to consist of.  The game of hockey is forever in my heart & soul. My goal is to be a competitor at the highest level possible, stand out, and set records while continuing to be a supporting team player.  Being the "new teammate" a few years in a row gave me an amazing opportunity to compete with many different teammates across a few states..  I learned the value of teamwork, sacrifice, commitment and leadership being a captain and an asst. Captain. 

I was invited to and competed at the WHL combine in 2015.  It was an honor and an amazing experience; one that I will always remember and be greatful for.  Competing in the Tier 1 Elite league gives me the opportunity to face off against great teams/players.   I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a junior and college team, but the character and work ethic to make an impact as well.

I don't want to be a distant memory of my teammates in years to come that think I was pretty good back when we played club, junior or college hockey.  I want to make a difference, I want to be remembered by my teammates for being a leader, a selfless teammate, a great play maker, and someone who never surrendered.
