Personal Statement
I am a simple guy. I love hockey, my family, and my dog. I live for adversity and challenges, without them I believe you would stay the same. I can remember the first time I ever put skates on my feet, I hated every minute of it. I wanted off the ice soooooo bad. However my mom, and dad said "No," I had to finish all 10 lessons I begged for before I could quit; after the 10 lesson were up I never wanted to take off my skates.
I have always wanted to play college hockey. I am looking forward to furthering my education while playing college hockey and studying business. I hope to continue to have hockey in my life even after College. I want to help younger players achieve their dreams. I love to help on the ice now with younger players working on their skills. I believe helping out is a great way to keep growing personally, mentally, and it's good fun.
I have a lot of work ahead of me on and off the ice, in and out of the classroom. I will do my best everyday to improve in all areas of my life. No stone will go unturned until I have done my personal best in achieving all my goals I have set going forward. I will embrace new challenges, take all advice given to heart, and with great consideration. I have a lot left to do and learn.
You won't regret taking a chance on me...
