After 3 years of attending boarding school and playing U18 and Prep hockey for my sophomore year I made the decision to return to club and play U16AAA with the Colorado Springs Tigers. During my time at the Fountain Valley School I already feel more equipped with self discipline, grit, and more tenacity to play at whatever level I find myself at. I feel as if my three years away from home, living in dorms with only my classmates, helped me mature in ways staying at home, would not. As well as the jump to playing against U18 AAA and prep teams as a sophomore insured my growth on and off the ice, from learning to read fast and hard shots, to learning how to take a hard loss professionally.
While playing high level hockey around the U.S. these past few years, I believe I have learned the true values of dedication, commitment, teamwork, and the sacrifice being a student-athlete takes. I have come to learn and love putting in the hours outside of what is required, and would love to potentially play the most competitive Junior hockey I can, and I would love to find a program that can both be a good fit for me athletically, as well as academically in College.
